That was clearly the message when volunteers from the Dorset branch of DocBike met online for a virtual get together.
Whilst the charity has been expanding nationally, work within the Dorset region has been diverted to provide support for the national need. However, work is now firmly back on track as Geoff Ball has taken up the challenge of leading the Dorset branch on a number of levels including fundraising, resources, engagement and celebrity endorsement.
Although the Dorset volunteers have been frustrated about not being able to get out to meet fellow bikers, their spirits and enthusiasm have still been high, with them vowing to use this time to cement our resources and procedures into place, to help us achieve our goal to eradicate motorcycle fatalities into the future.
There are a number of things that we are working towards for when we can get out there again, such as an engagement trailer containing the very first ever DocBike and a second operational DocBike for Dorset!
In the meantime, whilst we are all living in a virtual world, we are going to try our hand at capturing some more videos, so keep your eyes peeled on our social media channels.
If you would like to help towards our efforts in the Dorset area, why not set up a fundraising page or make a one-off donation, we would really appreciate your support, thank you!
